Angel Jewellery. Addicted to love.
I am taking a risk here, using two of the most controversial words in the English language, addict + love. …and …what do they have to do with Angels anyway.? Well, for me quite a lot really. Let me quickly tell you a story.
Once upon a fluffy pink cloud sat a little girl gazing at her beautiful Mother and Grandmother and thinking about her future. ..will I grow up to be like them ? how will I take care of myself when I am bigger and they are gone? The little girl had asked them these questions many times before, and this was their reply.
“One day my darling, if you are a good girl a tall, dark, handsome man will come along and whisk you off your feet, and he will look into your eyes and love you and look after you for ever and ever and you will never have to worry about anything again, so don’t worry about it, Ok”.
The little girl grew up and she met tall men, but they weren’t handsome, she met handsome men but they didn’t love her; she tried hard to be a good girl but she even met men who weren’t at all nice to her, and despite what Mother and Grandmother promised, the tall, dark, handsome, caring lover never showed up and she spent many years of her life obsessing and fantasizing and searching for him everywhere.
End of story, except for the last bit where the Angels come in..
The Angels, and any other caring people, need to tell children that they are perfect and capable and have wonderful talents, and that as they grow up, life will present them with many opportunities and choices; so there’s no need to worry because they can use these talents to be safe and take care of themselves, just the way they wish.
